Front strokes follow your hair
Hair at the inner brow usually grows upward, so strokes there are short and upright to match. When drawn lines sit among your real hairs, the brow blends in without makeup.
Natural hair strokes with a gentle sense of density. Korean combo brows in Busan Seomyeon at MODA BROW combine the fine strokes of natural brows with soft shading. They are recommended if your brows are patchy in places, or you want something natural but a little more groomed. How the strokes and shading are combined is decided from your face shape and your current brows.

Combination brows put the stroke work of natural (hair stroke) brows and the soft shading of powder (shadow) brows into a single brow. Typically the front, which people notice first, gets hair-like strokes and the tail, where brows tend to fade, is supported with shading. Sparse areas are filled in so the result looks clear but never overdone.

If you can see a clear line where strokes stop and powder starts, the brow looks like two techniques stitched together. Our Danagyeol design approach reads your hair flow and bone structure so the change happens gradually.

Hair at the inner brow usually grows upward, so strokes there are short and upright to match. When drawn lines sit among your real hairs, the brow blends in without makeup.

Around the centre, a light layer of powder goes under the strokes, with fewer strokes and more shading as you move out. Where that happens depends on your arch and how much hair you have.

Tails are often sparse, and strokes alone may not hold the shape there. Soft powder supports the outline, so the length of your brow still shows after you remove your makeup.
Worth knowing before you plan treatment into a trip.
Gappy fronts, disappearing tails, uneven shape: tell us what you want to fix. We can say before you arrive whether combo suits you or whether hair strokes or powder alone would be better.
Fine strokes can be hard to see over leftover pigment. If you have had brow tattooing before, send a recent photo and let us know roughly when it was done.
Strokes and shading typically look darker at first, then flake lightly after a few days. Share your flight date and any big plans so we can time things.
Up close, the brow should have the texture of real hair; from a normal distance, the shape should carry cleanly through to the tail. Our combo brows have four features.
None of the brows in our photos follow a trend shape. Results and colour retention vary from person to person. If you like a particular result, send it with your enquiry.

Stroke fineness, layered colour and how brows look from different angles are easier to judge on video than in photos.
Strokes placed along the natural hair direction.
Front, three-quarter and side views.
Same angle, before and after.
Combo brows follow these six steps. As a guide, the appointment takes about 1 hour.
By WhatsApp, Instagram, KakaoTalk or LINE we confirm the treatment you want, your visit dates, any previous treatment history and your reference images.
We look at your face shape, muscle movement, left–right asymmetry, your current brows and your own taste, all together.
We look at the design with you in the mirror and adjust it towards the direction you want.
Working from the agreed design, we choose the method that suits your skin and any existing pigment, then begin.
We review the finished design together and explain how the colour will change and how healing usually goes.
We explain the care and precautions for the treated area. If a touch-up is needed, we discuss it with you individually.
There is no instant online booking. Times are agreed by message.
Message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, KakaoTalk or LINE saying you would like combo brows, with a few possible dates and how long you are in Busan.
Attach a photo of your current brows (or the area), any previous semi-permanent makeup history and reference images of designs you like.
We reply with availability and confirm the slot. With only 4 clients a day, earlier is better.
Straight after treatment you may see temporary redness, swelling, darker colour or flaking. How healing goes and the final colour depend on your skin and the type of treatment, so no particular result can be promised.
Detailed care for each area follows the written aftercare sheet we give you at the studio. Before treatment, tell us about any previous semi-permanent makeup or tattoo (with photos), allergies to pigment or anaesthetic, pregnancy or breastfeeding, medication and recent skin procedures. See aftercare, downtime and touch-ups for details.
Two cards summarise prices, booking and aftercare.

Send a screenshot of any look you like by Instagram DM and we will tell you how it would work on your face.

They suit people who want a natural-looking front but whose tails fade or lose shape. Depending on your hair and skin, hair strokes or powder brows alone may suit you better, and we will tell you if so.
As a rough guide: hair stroke for the most natural bare-faced look, powder for a soft made-up finish, combo for a bit of both. See the comparison page, then decide with us at the consultation.
Yes. Whether strokes stop at the front or run further along is agreed in the mirror, based on your bone structure and your own hair.
Yes. Message us in English by WhatsApp, Instagram, KakaoTalk or LINE. For Japanese-speaking clients, a Japanese interpreter is on site.
Yes, but brows look darker and may flake for several days. Share your travel dates and we will tailor the aftercare advice.
A touch-up is typically considered after healing to refine lighter strokes or uneven shading. Timing and terms are confirmed when you book.
We design around your bone structure and muscle movement so the difference is less noticeable. See brow asymmetry correction.
