Gyeol (결) means grain or flow: the direction you see in wood grain, or the way hair lies. On a brow, it is the direction each hair grows and how the density changes from the front to the tail. Dana (단아) means graceful and refined.
Put together, Danagyeol is a way of designing a brow that looks neat and composed on the whole face without breaking the brow's own grain. As the diagram shows, we check four things before agreeing a shape.
- Facial structure: face shape and proportions, brow bone height and eye-to-brow distance set the starting length, angle and arch position.
- Brow flow: the direction and density of your own hair decide where strokes or shading are added, and how much.
- Muscle movement with expression: we watch how your brows move when you smile, talk or look surprised, and choose a position that still looks natural in motion.
- Overall impression: the balance of the whole face, including eyes and mouth, alongside the image you want.
Shape names such as arched or straight come out of this analysis. We do not pick a shape first and fit your face to it.

Danagyeol design is included in every brow treatment, whether hair stroke, powder or asymmetry correction. Hair stroke brows are KRW 250,000, combo brows KRW 280,000 and powder brows KRW 300,000; for other treatments, please contact us. See the price list for each menu.

The director handles the consultation, treatment and final check personally. As a guide, a brow appointment takes about 1 hour.

Step 02 · Custom design consultation
We look at your face shape, muscle movement, left–right asymmetry, your current brows and your own taste, all together.

Step 03 · Design check
We look at the design with you in the mirror and adjust it towards the direction you want.

Step 04 · Treatment
Working from the agreed design, we choose the method that suits your skin and any existing pigment, then begin.

Step 05 · Finished design check
We review the finished design together and explain how the colour will change and how healing usually goes.

Step 06 · Aftercare guidance
We explain the care and precautions for the treated area. If a touch-up is needed, we discuss it with you individually.

Is Danagyeol a treatment?
No. It is the name of MODA BROW's brow design method. Hair stroke, powder and asymmetry correction all follow the same analysis before the shape is set.
What does brow gyeol mean?
Gyeol means grain or flow, like wood grain or the way hair lies. For brows it describes the direction your hairs grow and how density changes along the brow.
Can you copy a celebrity's brows?
An identical shape often looks out of place on a different bone structure. Tell us what you like about the photo and we will adapt it to your face.
Can I book a design consultation only?
It depends on what you need, so message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, KakaoTalk or LINE first and we will let you know.
Can you work with uneven brows?
