Design approach
How we design for uneven brows
We do not simply copy one brow onto the other. Both brows are placed from the centre line of the face and your bone structure, so each sits where it should.

Even out, don't overcorrect
Instead of lifting the lower brow a long way, we make small changes on both sides, such as keeping the top edge of the higher brow restrained.

Build on your own hair
Strokes or shading are added where hair is missing to fill out the weaker side, keeping your natural hair flow wherever possible.

Uneven brows have different causes, and each calls for a different approach. Here is how we analyse them and the three types we see most.

Analysis starts with the bones
We compare brow bone height, eye size and eyelid heaviness on each side to separate differences caused by bone structure from those caused by brow shape.

Different heights
One brow sits higher or lower. We adjust the top edge of the lower brow and the bottom edge of the higher one so they look level from the front.

Arches in different places
The highest point of each brow does not line up. The arch is placed from the guide lines on both sides and the angle is matched.

Uneven when you move
Brows look even at rest but one rises more when you talk or smile. The more active side is drawn more conservatively so the difference shows less in motion.

Aftercare
Brow asymmetry correction aftercare and precautions
Temporary redness, swelling, darker colour and flaking can appear straight after treatment. Colour retention varies from person to person, and can even differ between the two sides. No specific result can be guaranteed.
- Fresh colour is not the healed colour. Brows typically look darker and bolder for the first few days.
- Don't scratch or pick flakes; let them come off on their own. Keep your hands clean and avoid touching the area.
- The two sides can look different in depth while healing. Give the skin time to settle; any remaining difference is usually addressed at a touch-up.
- In the early stage, avoid sauna, swimming and heavy sweating, and keep harsh cosmetics and exfoliants off the treated area.
- If pain or swelling gets worse, or you notice heat or pus (possible signs of infection), see a doctor promptly.
- Before treatment, tell us about previous brow tattoos (with photos), allergy to pigment or numbing products, pregnancy or breastfeeding, bleeding disorders, medication and recent skin procedures.

Will my brows become perfectly even?
Differences from bone structure or muscle movement cannot be removed completely with brows alone. We design so the difference is not noticeable from the front or when your face moves.
A previous tattoo left my brows uneven. Can you help?
It depends on the remaining colour and shape. Send a current photo and we will check before your visit. See brow correction.
Can you treat just one brow?
We decide after looking at the balance of both, so send photos first and we will suggest an approach.
Hair stroke or powder for asymmetry?
It depends on your hair density and skin. Soft powder shading is sometimes used to fill out the shape on the weaker side.
Should I shape my brows before coming?
Please avoid shaving or plucking beforehand so we can see your natural shape and hair direction.
Can I consult in English?
