Seomyeon
Downtown Busan and the Line 1/Line 2 interchange. Department stores, an underground mall and plenty of places to eat make it easy to fill the time around an appointment. More in our Seomyeon area guide.
This Busan microblading area guide starts from one simple point: Seomyeon is the easiest place to book, wherever you stay. Haeundae, Nampo and Busan Station all have a direct metro line into Seomyeon, so the trip to your appointment never needs a change. Below we compare the four areas travellers ask about most, with rough travel times.

Busan stretches a long way east to west. Seomyeon sits roughly in the middle, which is why so many metro routes pass through it.

One stop east of Seomyeon on Line 2. Its cafe street, full of small coffee shops and design stores, is calmer than central Seomyeon. MODA BROW sits between the two. See Jeonpo brows.
Busan's beach and hotel strip on the east side of the city. Popular for a seaside stay, and Line 2 runs straight into Jeonpo and Seomyeon.
The old harbour district in the south-west, with Jagalchi fish market and Gukje Market. Close to Busan Station and the ferry terminal, and a straight ride on Line 1 to Seomyeon.
It makes sense to choose your hotel area and your appointment together. Here are approximate metro times from the areas travellers stay in most to Seomyeon and Jeonpo stations, the two stops closest to MODA BROW.
| Staying in | Good for | Metro | Approx. time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seomyeon / Jeonpo | Shopping, food, cafes | — | Often walkable |
| Haeundae | A relaxed beach stay | Line 2, no change | About 30 min to Jeonpo, 30–35 min to Seomyeon |
| Gwangalli | Bridge views and seaside cafes | Line 2, no change | About 20 min to Jeonpo |
| Nampo | Markets and old-town walks | Line 1, no change | About 15–20 min to Seomyeon |
| Busan Station | Arriving by KTX or ferry | Line 1, no change | About 15 min to Seomyeon |
Times are riding time only and don't include waiting or walking inside stations. Coming from the east side on Line 2, it is handy to get off at Jeonpo, one stop before Seomyeon.
For routes from Gimhae Airport, see getting to Seomyeon. For station exits and the last few minutes on foot, see our location page.
Before comparing neighbourhoods, picture how your appointment day will actually run.
Lines 1 and 2 meet at Seomyeon. Haeundae and Gwangalli are on Line 2; Nampo and Busan Station are on Line 1. No changes means less to go wrong on the way to your slot.
Arrive early and wait in a cafe; finish and have a quiet meal nearby before heading back. Avoid plans that make you sweat heavily straight after, and read our aftercare guide in advance.
Because Seomyeon sits between the east and west of the city, you can stop in on a day you're moving from Haeundae to Nampo, for example. For itinerary ideas, see planning brows into a Busan trip.

For most travellers, Seomyeon. Lines 1 and 2 meet there, so you can reach it from Haeundae, Nampo or Busan Station without changing trains.
Take Line 2 and get off at Jeonpo, one stop before Seomyeon. The ride is about 30 minutes, then it's about 5 minutes on foot from Exit 7.
Line 1 runs straight to Seomyeon in roughly 15–20 minutes. From Exit 2 it's about a 5-minute walk.
Seomyeon is the busy shopping centre; Jeonpo is a quieter neighbourhood of cafes and small shops. They are neighbouring stations, and the studio is between them.
